Yoshi started Photography as hobby when he was 10 years old, taking photos of Landscape, Train, and Stars using telescopes, and He has been working as a full time Professional Photographer & Videographer for the past 17 years.
He loves finding beauty of each day and discovering newer worlds. Everything in the world exists for its reason and its purpose from small flowers, leaves, Trees, Mountain, Ocean, Sky, Stars, and People’s Heart and Spirit, and all those deserve to be told with good artistic expression in many different ways. This is Yoshi’s Passion and his Life work. He is still hoping to find Millions of beautiful stories to tell and share by his work. He always hopes his photography can be linked to give joy and strength to people’ heart and Life. He has met thousands of people and did approximate 2000 weddings, and he has learnt a lot about Human, Heart and Life, and he is still learning now, that is joy for him. Yoshi’s speciality is Fiji Wedding Photography and Videography and Portrait. He also does Nature, Landscape, Tourism, Resort, and anything he is interested in.
Yoshi is Japanese, and has settled down in Fiji for the past 16 years. He is 46 years of age, and is still a young boy at heart. He has spent more than half of his life in different part of the world, 4 years in Taiwan to another 4 years in U.S. before settling down in Fiji. He speaks fluent English, Japanese, a little bit of Fijian and Chinese and loves traveling to see different places and people in the world. He loves Nature, Ocean and Tropical environments. He has settled down in Fiji by finding his loving wife Regina, and having family with two sons Ken & Jun, and only daughter Edwina, and a dog Benji. Yoshi’s warm and friendly character with good sense of humor will have you relaxed in front of his camera.
Regina is Director and Secretary of Ocean Studio Fiji as well as Yoshi’s wife, and she has has sustained Ocean Studio Fiji’s inside and outside of operation for the past years. Regina is good at meeting and greeting and she used to come along as Yoshi’s assistant, and now she helps now as secretary to support busy Yoshi.
She has friendly smile as she is from an island of Vanualevu, so called friendly North.
Her hobby is listening music, jogging, polynesian dancing, watching movie including Korean drama.

Sam has bachelor degree of Photography & Art in Japan, and he worked for a famous Studio in Tokyo Japan for 3 years before he came to Fiji.
Sam had wish to work in Paradise to take more dramatic photos with free expression, and he was inspired by Yoshi’s work. , He applied to Yoshi to join Ocean Studio Fiji and he officially joined since August 2013 by contract to work until 2018 with options to renew.
As Sam learnt all lots of technical skills of photography, his photography is sure and stable from technical wise, and he is catching up to become master level like Yoshi for any kind of situation and more different artistic expressions. He sometime takes better shots than his master!
You will see Sam all around in Fiji as well as Yoshi for many weddings and portraits and commercial photos.
Since he has Studio photography experience, he helps Ocean Studio Fiji to set up Studio photography and he holds key roll as Studio manager, and teaching a lot to staff for Studio lighting which has millions of variation of lighting. As Yoshi becomes popular and popular recently, Sam help a lot to make Ocean Studio Fiji grow with all other staff.
He is such a nice guy, soft, pleasant and courteous. He has professional mind to make best results anytime as professional photographer.
Kezia has joined Ocean Studio Fiji since January 2013. Kezia has passion for Creativity and she has quickly become a excellent photographer, and she is excellent with Photo retouch using various software like Photoshop, Lightroom, Camera Raw etc.
With her passion of photography and self learning ability and efforts and supervision from Yoshi and Sam, she has gained good professional skills, and she started as our 3rd official wedding photographer since 2014 September, and she has gained good experience and she has already made outstanding results.
She is soft, pleasant young girl, and always eager to lean more, and she likes to help others.
Her hobby is listening music, playing hockey, watching movies, and she goes to Church every Sunday morning.
Don’t underestimate that she is small young girl, but she has powerful creative power and passion with free mind.
